JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-12-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341,342,504,379/34 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of The Prevention of Witch (daain) Practices Act, 1999.

The prosecution case is that the petitioners being neighbours of the informant came to the courtyard of the informant, abused by calling as witch and started assaulting. They brought the informant to their house and confined her. On getting information that the husband of the informant is going to inform the police, the accused persons released the informant.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55350 of 2015 (2) dt.07-12-2015 2/2 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for the occurrence of 7.8.2015 the FIR was registered on 14.8.2015. The accusation is omnibus and general against the accused persons. Statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent Considering the delayed lodging of the case and the petitioners being ladies, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of twelve weeks from today on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Katihar in connection with Barari P.S. Case No. 142 of 2015 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
