Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

52 litres of liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, when the sons of the petitioner were handing over the liquor to the petitioner. Petitioner has stated on oath that she has got no criminal antecedent. She is in custody since 09.07.2019.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to

No.52336 of 2019(2) dt.26-08-2019 2/2 the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.6047 of 2019, arising out of Sachivalaya Police Station Case No.178 of 2019, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
