The petitioner having contested the election for the post of Mukhiya which was reserved for the candidates belonging to the EBC (woman) and lost to respondent no.5 has filed the present writ application questioning the caste certificate issued to the respondent no.5 by the authorities certifying her to be woman belonging to 'Fakir' caste (EBC).

Reja submits that the matter can be appropriately agitated before the respondent-District Magistrate. The petitioner shall file application before the District Magistrate.
