2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 77, 352, 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and sections 66E, 67 and 72 of the IT Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, informant came in contact with the petitioner about a year back in a wedding function after which they exchanged contact details and developed a close relationship. Overtime, they began meeting regularly and entered into a physical relationship. Later on, informant knew that petitioner and his accomplice are part of a group indulged in trapping innocent girls in fake love affairs and compel them to share private photos and videos and then used to blackmail them. Informant alleged that the petitioner used to send obscene photos and videos to her family members.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case with a view to put pressure on him. Petitioner is a student of B. Pharma, III year in Mata Gujari
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53134 of 2025(2) dt.14-08-2025 2/2 University, Kishanganj. As a matter of fact, informant's family wanted to marry informant with the petitioner but when they did not succeed, informant filed this false case. Whats app No., in question, belongs to one Md. Shahzad Alam @ Sahid with whom as per FIR/ CD marriage of informant was fixed. Informant has already been married. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in Mahila Police Station Case No. 10 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
