The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No.198 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged recovery. The alleged recovery of illicit liquor has been made from in front of the house of Ashok Singh of village Sipah Khas. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63269 of 2022(4) dt.07-02-2023 2/2 of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Additional District and Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Court No.1, Gopalganj in connection with Manjhagarh P.S. Case No.198 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
