Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2015 registered under Sections- 341, 323, 406, 379 and 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the husband and petitioner is ready to keep opposite party no. 2 with all dignity and price but it is she who deserted him. Petitioner has clean antecedent. Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is specific allegation against this petitioner, Opposite party no. 2 was ultimately

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52182 of 2016 (6) dt.19-05-2017 2/2 driven out of her matrimonial house due to cruelty and harassment by the in-law on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled in the first information report and the submissions advanced on behalf fo the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
