This is an appeal under Section 14-A(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the "SC/ST Act") against the refusal of prayer for anticipatory bail vide order dated 05.07.2019 in A.B.P. No. 857 of 2019 passed by the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with Pakribrawan P.S. Case No. 135 of 2019 registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 353, 224 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3(i)(s) of the SC/ST Act.

The police had arrested co-accused Bipin Singh and this appellant and when both the arrested persons were being carried to the police station on a vehicle, the appellant jumped out of that.

Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.3399 of 2019(4) dt.24-02-2020 2/2 Considering the act alleged against the appellant, I am not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail.
