The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Darbhanga Sadar P.S.Case No. 302 of 2017 registered under Sections 363, 366-A, 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Regard being had to the allegation made in the FIR that the petitioner abducted a minor girl and ravished her, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
