JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-08-2019 The claim of the petitioner for being appointed on compassionate ground in the event of death of his father, who died in harness on 15.10.2013 has not yet been adverted to.

The learned counsel for the State however has submitted that the claim of the petitioner has not been set forth in proper format.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he be permitted to make requisite/necessary representation before the District Magistrate, Jamui and

Patna High Court CWJC No.16156 of 2019(2) dt.21-08-2019 2/2 the concerned respondent be further directed to consider the claim of the petitioner.

Should the petitioner make a representation before the District Magistrate, Jamui (respondent No. 4) with a request for considering his claim for compassionate appointment within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be looked into by the concerned respondent and if the claim of the petitioner is found to be tenable, necessary order shall be passed within a reasonable period of time, preferably within a period of ten weeks of the receipt of such representation.

It is clarified that this Court has expressed no opinion over the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the petitioner would be at liberty to pursue his claim before the concerned authority.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
