====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-08-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 386, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per F.I.R., this petitioner, armed with pistol, entered the office of informant and took Rs. 20,000/- cash from the counter and his gold chain and when informant objected, petitioner assaulted him and threatened to destroy his business if he failed to pay the extortion regularly.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that informant, who is bus driver, spat on the petitioner due to which altercation took place between both the parties and taking advantage of the situation, this false and concocted case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.53857 of 2025(2) dt.18-08-2025 2/2 has been lodged against petitioner.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation and has got 17 criminal antecedents out of which some of them are of similar nature.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
