This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
The first information report of dacoity is against unknown. Name of the petitioner has transpired in the confessional statement of the co-accused.
Submission of the petitioner is that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is accused in about nine cases of similar nature, however, all cases are against unknown and due to police atrocities, the name of the petitioner has been dragged in these cases. The petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2015. Since, investigation is complete and considering
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18249 of 2017 (2) dt.18-04-2017 2/2 the material against the petitioner, let, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No. 657 of 2014 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, or successor Court.
