The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 408, 420, 120B, 323, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the petitioner being the senior staff of Dainik Jagran Group misappropriated Rs. 18,51,099/- in lieu of the advertisement being received from various advertising agencies.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that an affidavit has been filed on behalf of the informant before the learned lower court that the issue has been settled between the parties against total due amount of Rs. 18,51,099/- the petitioner agreed to make

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36001 of 2015 (7) dt.18-01-2016 payment of Rs.10,00,000/- and Rs. 10,00,000/- has already given by the petitioner to the informant through three bank drafts. It is further submitted that a compromise petition has been filed before the learned court below which has been brought on record along with affidavit and the informant is not opposing the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Patna Kotwali P.S. Case No. 115 of 2015, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
