The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in Industrial Area P.S. Case No. 71 of 2016 registered under section 307 wherein the allegation is that he inflicted injury on the head of the informant with a sickle.

Diverse submissions have been advanced on behalf of the petitioner. However, from the order of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, it appears that the informant received as many as six injuries on his person.

In my view, it is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Prayer is refused.
