Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Gaya P.S. Case No. 186 of 2014 registered for the offence under section 363A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report. He has not committed any offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case merely on basis of suspicion. Nothing specific is alleged against this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned Adll. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that during investigation materials have come establishing involvement of this petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64779 of 2021(6) dt.18-04-2023 2/2 in the alleged crime. Several witnesses have supported the prosecution case. The petitioner, therefore, does not deserve to be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail. Considering the nature of allegations levelled and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. His prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected.
