2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 15(C)/18(B) (C) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered in connection with Brahampur (Chakki) P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated on the acquisition of cultivation of Poppy plant in a lonely place in Jabahi Diara. It is submitted that the petitioner is merely a labourer and is not the owner of the field measuring 15-20 acres. The first information report has been instituted against as many as 21 named persons including the petitioner, who claims clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. (Vikash Jain, J) BT/- U T
