Petitioners are languishing in custody for offences punishable under Section 272/273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Four bags of liquor were recovered and three persons including the petitioners were apprehended on suspicion. Petitioners are in custody since 15.01.2017 and have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let petitioners, above named, be enlarged on bail after completion of four months of custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousand)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16290 of 2017 (2) dt.04-04-2017 2/2 each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Mr. S.K. Sharma, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Araria, in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 7 of 2017, with condition that petitioners shall file undertaking at the time of furnishing of the bail-bond before the Court-below that they would not indulge themselves in such activity otherwise the Court below shall be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of the bail-bonds of the petitioners in this case.
