2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Sections 139, 140(2), 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023.

3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that on 10.07.2024, the daughter of informant had gone to market, but did not return. Later on, informant came to know that this petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons have kidnapped her daughter.

4. During investigation, the victim was recovered and her statement was recorded under Section 183 B.N.S.S., in which, she has specifically stated that this petitioner forcibly kidnapped her under threat. The Court has assessed her age, as 15 years.

5. Considering the nature of accusation and statement of victim under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
