Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the Civil Surgeoncum-Chief Medical Officer, Darbhanga filed a written report before the S.H.O. alleging that on 18.03.2013 one Altaf Ahmed, staff of Treasury Office, Darbhanga handed over application of six persons with full address, depicted the allotment of PRAN account number. The name of the petitioner figured in the list of one of the six persons. It is alleged that signature of the Civil Surgeon as well as Altaf Ahmad were found to be forged.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57148 of 2015 (2) dt.18-12-2015 petitioner that one Santosh Kumar Pathak, took some money for getting the petitioner and others appointed, who committed all these forgery. Admittedly, as per the First Information Report, the application was handed over by Altaf Ahmad and the alleged signature of the petitioner on the application was forged as petitioner never made the signature. Moreover, the petitioner had filed a case against Santosh Kumar Pathak. Admittedly, the petitioner never joined nor received any remuneration and statement has been made in para-3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 136 of 2013, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga.

With the above observation this application is disposed of.

It is expected from the learned court below to dispose of the regular bail application of the petitioner preferably on the same day.
