This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner, along with two others, was intercepted by the police on a motorcycle and from the possession of the petitioner ornaments were recovered which were suspected to be stolen property. The petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2017.

The co-rider, Lalan Kumar, has already been allowed regular bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 12158 of 2017. The petitioner has stated on oath that though he is accused in some criminal cases, but, in none of the case the petitioner is named in the first information report.

Case No. 19 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, or successor Court.
