By the order passed in the writ petition arising from CWJC No. 1106 of 2015, this Court taking note of the circumstances as well as the project of the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited had directed the Corporation to expedite the payment of compensation to the petitioner and until

Patna High Court MJC No.3435 of 2015 (2) dt.27-01-2016 such time that it is made, the Corporation was directed not to disturb her from the dwelling house.

Although Mr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh appearing for the petitioner charges the authorities of the Corporation of disturbing her by laying down the power lines but Mr. Sumit Kumar Jha appearing for the Corporation with reference to Annexure-4 submits that there has been no laches on the part of the Corporation in payment of the compensation and that it is the petitioner who is avoiding to accept the same on grounds of quantum.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the statement of the petitioner present at Annexure-4, no case for contempt is made out. The petitioner, if aggrieved by the quantum of compensation, may prefer statutory remedy so available to her in law.

This application is disposed of.
