That this is an application for direction or directions, order and orders by the way of an appropriate writ or writs preferably in the nature of 'MANDAMUS'

directing and commanding the respondents no 4 and 5 to release all monitory benefits of promotion since 30.7.2013 as petitioner has been promoted to DSP rank from the post of Inspector vide notification no 2/P/1- 203/2009 part

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
