JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 06-05-2016 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Lalit Narayan Mithila University.

The petitioner was working as a Lab Boy in Samastipur College, Samastipur, which is a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, when he retired on 31.07.2010.

It is his grievance that certain benefits/arrears, which he is legally entitled to, have not been paid. It is stated by the petitioner that part of the amount of

Further, arrears arising out of implementation of recommendations of Fifth and Sixth Pay Commissions are also due. According to him, the cash equivalent to unutilized earned leave for 17 days, amount of Group Insurance and certain arrears of salary are also due to be paid by the University to the petitioner. Considering the nature of reliefs sought for in the present application, I direct the Registrar, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take a decision within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before him.

If any amount is found admissible and legally payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within a period of two months thereafter.

This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation and direction.
