The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bakhtiyarpur Rail P.S. Case No. 145 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act.
Allegedly, from the trolly bag of the petitioner 16.636 kg ganja was recovered.
Submission is of false implication and that the recovered quantity does not come under the purview of commercial quantity. The petitioner is suffering in custody since 31.12.2016 and as such he deserves sympathetic consideration.
Learned APP opposes the prayer of bail.
In the facts and circumstances stated above, at present, this
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17289 of 2017 (3) dt.22-05-2017 Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, accordingly, his such prayer stands rejected.
