Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 638 of 2018, registered for offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner happens to be father-in-law and there is allegation of demand of Rs.02 lac and for that subjecting her to assault and torture.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except the general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner, there is nothing specific mentioned in the complaint petition. No injury report is available on the record and he is

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Madhepura in connection with Complaint Case No.638 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
