The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 50 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b) a/26/35 of the Arms Act. The allegation is regarding the police having apprehended the petitioner herein, when the police was on patrolling duty and upon search, as far as the petitioner is concerned, one loaded country made pistol along with two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is having a fair antecedent, except being accused in one case in which he is on bail. The petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 09.02.2019.
