The claim of the petitioners for being appointed on contractual basis after their superannuation does not suffer from any impediment whatsoever. Despite the recommendation of the authority concerned, no decision has yet been taken by the concerned authority regarding engagement of the petitioners on contractual basis.

Patna High Court CWJC No.16176 of 2019(2) dt.21-08-2019 2/2 Without adverting to the merits of the claim of the petitioners, this Court only directs the Deputy Collector(Establishment), Siwan (respondent No. 3) to at least take a decision on the recommendation of the authority concerned for the engagement of the petitioners on contractual ground and communicate such decision to the petitioners at the earliest, preferably within a period of ten weeks of the receipt/production of a copy this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
