It is contended that the petitioner's PDS licence no.04/87 was suspended vide order dated 07.04.2003 (Annexure 3) and subsequently it was cancelled vide order dated 30.08.2003 (Annexure 5). The petitioner, thereafter, has preferred Appeal No.67/2003. However, it is submitted that surprisingly the appeal is still pending even after lapse of 12 years.

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Nalanda, Biharsharif to take immediate steps for disposal of the Appeal No.67/2003, if the same

Patna High Court CWJC No.14987 of 2015 dt.17-11-2016 2 / 2 has already not been disposed of, within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the petitioner would be required to co-operate in the matter.
