The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is non-payment of salary.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were validly appointed. They have joined the post of teacher on 03.03.2016 and 05.02.2016 respectively and regularly working, but they have not been paid salary. The issue of payment of salary requires verification of

Patna High Court CWJC No.16255 of 2019(2) dt.09-08-2019 2/2 the record and as such the writ petition is of with a direction to the respondent District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nalanda to verify the records and on verification if it is found that the petitioners' appointment is legal and valid and they worked for the period they are claiming salary, the respondents shall ensure payment of salary.

Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nalanda at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
