Pursuant to our order dated 12.09.2023, an additional show-cause reply has been filed, apprising this Court to the extent that Jamabandi Cancellation Case No. 328 of 2022 is pending consideration and further date of hearing is fixed on 03.10.2023. Similarly, Encroachment Appeal Case No. 02 of 2022 is pending consideration.

Taking note of these developments and the showcause reply, we proposed to drop the present contempt proceeding with an observation that the official respondents are hereby directed to expedite the above matter within a period of six months from today. If there is no progress in the aforementioned cases, in that event, petitioner is at liberty to file interlocutory application to revive this order for initiation of contempt proceedings.
