Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajaon P.S. Case No.190 of 2022 dated 07.05.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution, the informant (prosecutrix) alleged that this petitioner established sexual relationship with her on fake pretext of marriage since last two years. The main submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner are that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 07.05.2022 and his trial has started and the victim as well as her parents have been examined and they denied the allegations of the FIR in their cross-examination and

In view of the facts, as stated above, in the opinion of this Court a lenient approach can be taken in respect of the petitioner's prayer, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Rajaon P.S. Case No.190 of 2022.
