The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the Chief Election Officer in removal of their names from the voterlist.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14719 of 2012 (2) dt.20-08-2015 Although the petitioners have submitted that they filed a petition in the Janata Darwar but the remedy for the petitioners would lie under the provisions of Rule 21-J of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Rules, 1959 framed under the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act, 1935 and if so advised, the petitioners may take recourse to the same.

The writ is disposed of accordingly.
