The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "i) For direction to the respondents to consider the reply dated 03.06.2023 filed by the petitioner against the show cause issued by the District Magistrate, Chhapra, Saran vide letter no. 364 dated 30.05.2023.

ii) To issue further directions to the respondents to revoke the suspension of the Arms License and release and hand over the Arms and License of the petitioner.

iii) To issue writs/orders/directions to the respondent for the reliefs to which the petitioner is found to be entitled."

3. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties.

4. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already submitted his reply to the show cause notice issued by the District Magistrate, Chapra (Saran) (i.e., respondent No. 2 herein) dated 03.06.2023, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 2 herein to consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner and pass final orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
