06-07-2022 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner alongwith other F.I.R. named co-accused assaulted informant, her grandson and other family members, due to which, they sustained injury.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that present case is counter blast of Khaira P.S. Case No. 190 of 2020, which was lodged by the petitioner against the son of informant and others just one day prior to the present case. Most of the injuries are simple in nature and only two injuries have been found to be grievous in nature. Petitioner has also sustained one grievous

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant on her head and breast. Considering the aforesaid facts & circumstances as well as nature of accusation, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and same is, accordingly, rejected.
