The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is that the petitioners' services as Lok Shikshak should be treated at par with Panchayat Shiksha Mitra. The aforesaid issue does not merit consideration as the Panchayat Shikshak were appointed under the scheme of

Patna High Court CWJC No.17680 of 2019(2) dt.30-08-2019 3/3 2006 Rules whereas there is no such rule for absorption of Lok Shikshak. The petitioners' engagement as Lok Shikshak is voluntary activity and as such their services cannot be absorbed/regularized as Panchayat Shikshak.

However, in the peculiar facts of the case, the Court would direct the respondents to grant one time age relaxation in the matter of appointment as Panchayat Shikshak if the petitioners are otherwise eligible for appointment as Panchayat Shikshak.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
