JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 04-02-2023 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 12 of 2022 registered for offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The marriage of the informant was solemnized with co-accused, Pankaj Kumar on 19.02.2020. As per allegation, the accused persons tortured her for non-fulfillment of dowry demand of a 'four wheeler' vehicle. He has submitted further the petitioner is Bhasur of the informant, having no concern

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.54973 of 2022(2) dt.04-02-2023 2/2 with day-to-day affairs of the husband of the informant and has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he is a close relative of the husband of the informant.

On the other hand, the learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender, within four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bagusarai in connection with Mahila P.S.
