Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Siwaipatti P.S. Case No. 161 of 2019 registered for the offence under section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report and he has not committed any offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case on basis of confessional statement of the co-accused Subodh Kumar.

Learned Adll. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail on the ground that petitioner has criminal antecedent of the same nature. The petitioner, therefore, does not deserve to be granted the privilege of anticipatory bail.
