The petitioner is in custody since 26.09.2013 in a case for the offence registered under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471, 474, 120-B/34, 124(A), 473, 255, 256, 475, 258, 259 and 260 Of the Indian Penal Code.
The allegation against the petitioner is that he participated in the occurrence of production and sale of fake stamp.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that his
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24098 of 2014 (6) dt.02-03-2015 2/2 name has come into picture on the basis of the confessional statement of co-accused Ranjeet Kumar, who is said to be residing at Flat No. 504, Raghu Hari Apartment, Hanuman Nagar, District Patna. It is further submitted that, save and except, the confessional statement of co-accused Ranjeet Kumar, there is no other cogent material to connect the petitioner in the present case. It is further submitted that several other persons, who were also named in the First Information Report have been extended the privilege of bail vide order dated 18.12.2014 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 18453 of 2014 and its analogous cases.
Considering the aforesaid submissions and also the period of custody, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Patna in connection with Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No. 206 of 2013.
