Mr. Lalit Kishore ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 06-08-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent Bihar School Examination Board.

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents to make necessary correction in the record of the Board as to 'Date of Birth' of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the Bihar School Examination Board would submit that Board has granted indulgence to the concerned candidates for rectification but the petitioner has not applied and as such no fault can be found in the action of the Examination Board.

Not withstanding the fact that Bihar School

Patna High Court CWJC No.16071 of 2019(2) dt.06-08-2019 2/2 Examination Board invited application but petitioner failed to apply, for ends of justice, the Court directs the Examination Board to allow correction in the 'Date of Birth' of the petitioner, if the petitioner presents necessary evidence along with a copy of this order, at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of filing of representation.

With the aforesaid, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
