2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 503 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 147/148/149/ 341/ 323 /324 /307 / 504/506 lodged on 28.06.2020 by the informant, Sunil Kumar Rai.

3. As per the prosecution story, during playing of the game Ludo, quarrel took place, the matter was aggravated and the petitioner took extreme step of firing on the chest of the informant. He was subsequently taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital and the FIR was lodged.

4. Despite the fact that specific allegation of opening fire causing injury on the chest was attributed to this petitioner, the FIR was lodged in 2020, three years later he came to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55835 of 2023(2) dt.28-08-2023 2/2 judicial custody, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail. It is accordingly rejected.

5. In view of the fact that the matter is of the year 2020, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months. (Rajiv Roy, J) Mkr./- U T
