The petitioner seeks bail in Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 92 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. As per the FIR, all the accused persons including this petitioner named in the FIR persuaded the informant to take policy and assured that they will provide him better return. Several persons including this informant invested money and after collecting several lakhs of rupees, closed the branch and fled away.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that not a single policy was sold by the petitioner or by his agent code. There is no chit of paper available on record which shows that money was given to this petitioner. Money was collected by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64590 of 2021(3) dt.12-04-2022 2/2 petitioner in the capacity of agent was duly deposited in the account of Company. Petitioner is in custody since 05.09.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the period of custody and completion of investigation, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 92 of 2015.
