JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death. petitioner is the husband and he is in custody since 16.5.2019 and till date even charge has not been framed in the case.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the rival submissions of the parties and the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the victim who died within seven years of marriage in suspicious condition at her matrimonial home, his prayer for bail is refused.
