Mr. S.N. Pathak, Advocate =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-03-2016 Reason for the petitioner to file the writ application is that they require certification in a particular format for the purposes of consideration by NAAC and there is supposed to be a prescribed format in this regard which has been annexed as Annexure-7 to the
Patna High Court CWJC No.8986 of 2015 dt.03-03-2016 2 / 2 writ application.
However, for some strange reason, the University authorities are not willing to change the modality which they have adopted for issuance of such certificate, a copy of which is Annexure8. If changes have come about in the manner in which certain things are required to be done then the University must adopt such modality especially if they are statutory in nature. Writ application is disposed of with a direction upon the Registrar of the University that he will verify that Annexure-7 is the modal format for grant of certification for the purposes of utilization by NAAC and if it is so, the certificate in this regard will be issued within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order.
