Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379/411 of the Indian Penal Code and section 11 (d)(c)(f) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are merely owner and driver of the Pick-up Van on which some cows were being transported. In fact cattle had been purchased from a cattle fair by one Ibran Quarashi for which receipt has been been produced. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

No.54975 of 2022(2) dt.22-12-2022 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioners, in the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Aurangabad in Daudnagar Police Station Case No. 328 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under sections 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
