JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-10-2022 Though the present writ petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate, Madhepura, to dispose off the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, filed way back in the year 2009, however in view of the coming into force of the new Arms Rules, 2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file a wholesome application afresh in terms of the new Arms Rules, 2016. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that if an application is filed for grant of arms license in the proper format after completing the requisite formalities within a period of four weeks from today, before the District Magistrate, Madhepura, the same shall be
