The petitioner wants to renew his prayer of bail, which was earlier rejected vide order dated 10.02.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55798 of 2015, on the ground that the petitioner is suffering in custody since 13.08.2015 and up-till now no prosecution witness has been examined though charge was framed on 23.08.2016.
Learned APP submits that the petitioner being the teacher has committed rape with a girl aged about 9 years. In the facts and circumstances stated above, finding no good ground for reconsideration of prayer for bail of the petitioner, again his prayer for bail stands rejected. However, considering the period of detention, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13409 of 2017 (2) dt.12-04-2017 early as possible, preferably within four months after keeping the same on priority basis.
