2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Natwar P.S. Case No. 121 of 2022 registered for offences under Sections 341, 323, 354, 366(A), 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code but the cognizance has been taken for the offenses under Sections 12 of the POCSO Act.

2. As per the prosecution case, one Pinky Kumari had earlier filed a case against one Rahul Rai for kidnapping. The petitioners along with Rahul Rai went to the house of the informant and tried to take her away to the police station for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58496 of 2024(2) dt.04-09-2024 2/2 changing her statement that Rahul Rai had not kidnapped her. When she refused, the criminals assaulted the informant and threatened her with rape.

3. The petitioners are named in the F.I.R. The allegations levelled against the petitioners are serious in nature. This is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.

5. The petitioners are directed to surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today failing which the Superintendent of Police, Rohtas at Sasaram will take all steps for arrest of the petitioners.
