The petitioner apprehends her arrest in Kotwali P.S. Case No. 272 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 420, 465, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the written report that for selection of contractor under mid-day programme, tenders were invited from the contractors. The contractors from Masaurhi, Naubatpur and Maner block submitted insurance papers of the vehicles which were found to be forged. It has been alleged against this petitioner that she applied for Naubatpur block and submitted list of nine vehicles, out of which insurance papers of three vehicles were found forged.

No.7895 of 2017 (2) dt.23-02-2017 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner had no knowledge about forged insurance papers since the vehicles do not belong to the petitioner. The forgery, if done, it might have been done by the owner of the vehicles. It is the admitted position that application for contract was filed by the petitioner giving list of required documents including the documents which were found forged. In such circumstance, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 272 of 2016 and seek regular bail, which shall be considered preferably on the same day, after looking into the fact that the vehicles did not belong to the petitioner and petitioner merely submitted the documents for the contract under mid-day programme, without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
