The petitioner seeks bail in Shahkund P.S. Case No. 177 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged in the written report that recovery of foreign liquor has been made from the open field. Allegation against the petitioner is that he was selling liquor in secret way. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been arrested merely on suspicion because he started running away on seeing the Police party.

Petitioner is in custody since 4.7.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed.

No.50858 of 2019(2) dt.21-08-2019 2/2 Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned IInd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Bhagalpur, in connection with Shahkund P.S. Case No. 177 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be close relatives of the petitioner.
