2. In the present case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. No. 500 of 2023, registered on 01.10.2023 for the offences under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code
3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is the husband of the daughter of the informant who died in her matrimonial home within seven years of marriage. Further allegation is about demand of money against the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner never demanded anything and only because of the fact that he is husband, has been made accused in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61152 of 2024(4) dt.25-10-2024 2/2 case. Learned counsel submits that the daughter of the informant died a natural death and her cremation took place in presence of the brother and mother of the deceased. The informant has concealed this fact about his son and wife joining cremation of his daughter.
5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and there is allegation of causing dowry death.
6. Considering the seriousness of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail
7. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
