The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Ujiarpur P. S. Case No. 170 of 2016 registered under Sections 414, 508, 427 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-B), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Considering the allegation that the petitioner managed to escape while one of his accomplices was apprehended and from whose possession, one country made pistol was recovered, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.
